Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. If you have a passion for automotive diagnostics and enjoy working with heavy machinery, we want to hear from you.Duties:- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues and make accurate diagnoses- Disassemble and assemble engine components as needed for repairs or replacements- Perform heavy equipment operation as required for testing and repairs- Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performedQualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems- Proficient in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques- Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is a plus- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail- HVAC certification is preferred but not required- Valid driver's licenseBenefits:- Competitive pay based on experience- Health insurance options- Retirement plan options- Paid time offNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
