Job Description:

Our client, a reputable healthcare organization located in Boston, is seeking a Gift Processing Coordinator to join their team for 4+ months. This hybrid role will support the Development Operations team and contribute to the organization's fundraising and donor engagement efforts. It is compensating $26 an hour. Responsibilities:
Accurately process and audit a variety of donations including checks, credit cards, stock, and wire transfer gifts
Generate donor receipts and acknowledgment letters in a timely manner
Maintain database accuracy, including entering and auditing gift and biographical data
Run data queries and develop reports using Excel and Crystal Reports
Prepare mailing lists and donor lists for various campaigns
Support special events with operational tasks such as registration, gift entry, and volunteer oversight
Assist in prospect research and manage electronic data
Train staff in the use of Raiser's Edge and create import profiles
Analyze fundraising data and suggest improvements to processes and systems
Create and maintain a gift processing policies and procedures handbook


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
2-4 years of experience in a development office; gift processing experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in data management systems, particularly Raiser's Edge, and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information and manage multiple priorities independently
Strong communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Comfortable collaborating with various teams and internal stakeholders
