• Employment Type: TravelPACU RN - 12hr Nights - 36 hrs/wk - EOW & EOH Boston, MA - No Call - May float to Moakley PACUStart: ASAP - Shifts: 12s - Start times: 6A, 7A, 8A (Days) / 9A, 10A, 11A (PM)Schedule: Every 3rd weekend & holidayPay rate: $68 per hour ($2448 for 36 guaranteed hours) - Must-Have Experience:
  • 2+ yrs PACU Phase 1 (complex recovery)
  • Neuro, Thoracic, Vascular, Ortho Spine cases
  • Telemetry - Read/interpret rhythm strips & heart blocks (REQUIRED, test on Day 1 - must pass w/ 84%+)
  • Peds PACU preferred Certifications:
    • Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
    • Preferred: TNCC Case Types: Trauma, Peds, Ortho, General, Cardiac Cath, IR, Neuro IR, EP Volume: 30-60 cases/day - Unit runs 24/7 -Must have: BLS, ACLS, PALS
      Preferred: TNCC
      RN Massachusetts License
      
      2+ years PACU experience - must have strong PACU phase 1 recovery large complex cases neuro, thoracic, vascular, and ortho spine. Pediatric experience preferred. Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm(space)strips and identify heart blocks REQUIRED. Must pass Tele test on day 1 with 84% or better.
      Shifts are 12's starting at 6A, 7A, 8A for days and 9A, 10A, or 11A for evenings - every 3rd weekend as needed, and every 3rd holiday as needed.
      Case types include: Trauma, Pediatrics, Ortho, General, Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology (IR), Neuro (IR), Electrophysiology (EP) Cases.
      Cases. Average number of cases per day ranges from 30-60 and the unit is open 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
